Rep. Don Young Says the National Academy of Sciences is Wrong About Gassing Wolf Pups

Ahead of a House vote on Rep. Don Young's (R-Alaska) bill to repeal a U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service rule prohibiting inhumane killing of wolves and bears in Alaska's national wildlife refuges, Rep. Young tells the House Rules Committee that the National Academy of Sciences just doesn't want any wildlife killed anywhere at any time and accuses Rep. Jared Polis (D-Colo.) of wanting to "break the law." The NAS published a report finding the indiscriminate killing of wolves and bears is bad for ecosystem health.
