Cleaning up abandoned mines protects public health and safety and creates jobs, especially in communities the mining industry has left behind. On Thursday, March 18, we’re hosting a hearing in the Energy and Mineral Resources Subcommittee on three bills to restore abandoned mines, rebuild local economies and clean up the environment.
