Legislative Hearing: Hearing on H.R. 1838 and H.R. 3668
On Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at 2:00 p.m., in Room 1334 Longworth House Office Building, the Subcommittee on Federal Lands will hold a legislative hearing on the following bills:
- H.R. 1838 (Rep. Sam Farr), To establish the Clear Creek National Recreation Area in San Benito and Fresno Counties, California, to designate the Joaquin Rocks Wilderness in such counties, to designate additional components of the National Wild and Scenic Rivers System, and for other purposes. “Clear Creek National Recreation Area and Conservation Act”
- H.R. 3668 (Rep. Paul Cook), To codify in law and expand certain off-highway vehicle recreation areas in the State of California, to designate as wilderness certain public lands in the State of California administered by the Bureau of Land Management, to expand the Death Valley National Park Wilderness and the San Gorgonio Wilderness in San Bernardino National Forest, to ensure the conservation and necessary management of wildlife in these wilderness areas, to establish the Mojave Trails Special Management Area in the State, and for other purposes. “California Minerals, Off-Road Recreation, and Conservation Act”
