President Trump and Congressional Republicans have one goal: to let Big Oil call the shots on our public lands.
Despite their “all of the above” rhetoric, the President’s budget makes it clear that the Department of the Interior is following an “oil above all” agenda, with proposed increases for fossil fuel programs and major cuts to renewable energy programs, science, regulatory programs, and everything else.
The talking points on energy from the Trump Administration are indistinguishable from those from the oil and gas industry, falsely accusing the Obama Administration of an anti-energy agenda that simply does not line up with the facts.
The administration has been moving at breakneck speed to roll back commonsense health, safety, and environmental protections and remove all restrictions to drilling and digging on public land at the behest of their billionaire lobbyist friends at Big Oil.
