Legislative Hearing: Hybrid NPFPL Legislative Hearing – December 7, 2021
On Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. EST, in room 1324 Longworth House Office Building and Cisco WebEx online video conferencing, the Subcommittee on National Parks, Forests, and Public Lands will hold a legislative hearing on the following bills:
- H.R. 1117 (Rep. Mark DeSaulnier, D-CA), To amend the Rosie the Riveter/World War II Home Front National Historical Park Establishment Act of 2000 to provide for additional areas to be added to the park, and for other purposes. Rosie the Riveter National Historic Site Expansion Act.
- H.R. 3525 (Rep. Grace Meng, D-NY), To establish the Commission to Study the Potential Creation of a National Museum of Asian Pacific American History and Culture, and for other purposes. Commission To Study the Potential Creation of a National Museum of Asian Pacific American History and Culture Act.
- H.R. 5230 (Rep. John Katko, R-NY), To provide a one-time grant for the operation, security, and maintenance of the National September 11 Memorial & Museum at the World Trade Center to commemorate the events, and honor the victims, of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, and for other purposes. 9/11 Memorial and Museum Act.
