Subcommittee Hearing: NPFPL Legislative Hearing
On Thursday, July 18, 2019, at 10:00 a.m., in Room 1334 Longworth House Office Building, the Subcommittee on National Parks, Forests, and Public Lands (NPFPL) will hold a legislative hearing on the following bills:
- H.R. 401 (Rep. O’Halleran), To direct the Secretary of Agriculture to release reversionary and reserved interests in certain lands within the Coconino National Forest, Arizona. “Lowell Observatory Conveyance Act”
- H.R. 1492 (Rep. Tipton), To update the map of, and modify the maximum acreage available for inclusion in, the Yucca House National Monument. “Yucca House National Monument Boundary Revision Act”
- H.R. 1572 (Rep. Quigley), To promote botanical research and botanical sciences capacity, and for other purposes. “Botanical Sciences and Native Plant Materials Research, Restoration, and Promotion Act”
