June 6 Grijalva Letter to NOAA on South Florida Corals

Ranking Member Grijalva sent this letter to the National Marine Fisheries Service and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration on June 6, 2016, urging greater oversight of threats to endangered coral in South Florida. The Army Corps of Engineers badly damaged coral habitat during a dredging project in the Port of Miami and could do so again near Port Everglades if the agencies overseeing the Endangered Species Act fail to enforce the law.
