Chair Grijalva, Rep. Dingell and Conservation Leaders to Discuss Need for Climate Investments in Reconciliation Bill

Washington, D.C. – Chair Raúl M. Grijalva (D-Ariz.), Rep. Debbie Dingell (D-Mich.) and national conservation leaders will lead a press conference on Thursday, Oct. 28, to discuss the need to invest in conservation and restoration programs as a core part of achieving President Biden’s climate goals. The event will feature Collin O’Mara and Mustafa Santiago Ali, leaders at the National Wildlife Federation, discussing the benefits of robust job growth, nature-based infrastructure and carbon emission reductions.

The National Wildlife Federation will unveil a report assessing the climate and economic impacts of ignoring these critical investments.

Thursday’s speakers include:
