NEXT WEEK: Hearings on Bills to Protect the Boundary Waters, Preserve Tribal Lands and Improve Bison Management

Washington, D.C. – The Committee on Natural Resources will hold two legislative hearings on Wednesday of next week. The Subcommittee on Energy and Mineral Resources will consider Rep. Betty McCollum’s (D-Minn.) bill to protect the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness from hardrock mining, and the Subcommittee for Indigenous Peoples of the United States will consider four tribal bills.
