Next Week’s Hearings Tackle Trump Administration Wildlife Rollbacks and Lead the Transition to Clean Offshore Energy
Washington, D.C. – The Committee on Natural Resources will hold two hearings during the week of June 10. Our Subcommittee on Water, Oceans, and Wildlife will hold a legislative hearing on various bills that would help rebuild our nation’s water infrastructure and wildlife, including strengthening the Migratory Bird Protection Act, ensuring safety for birds after the Trump administration’s decision to roll back protections. The Subcommittee on Energy and Mineral Resources will host a legislative hearing on H.R. 3068, a bill that pushes the transition towards a clean energy economy by creating a federal grant program to provide training for American workers to get jobs harnessing the power of offshore wind energy.
Witness lists are available below. As with all hearings, these events are open to media and the public.
