Chairman Grijalva, Natural Resources Committee Democrats To Host Forum on President Trump’s Border Wall Impacts
Washington D.C. – Chairman Raúl M. Grijalva and Democratic members of the House Natural Resources Committee will hold a forum on Jan. 16 at 10:00 a.m. Eastern time on the disastrous impacts of the border wall.
The Trump administration has proposed a dramatic expansion of the wasteful, divisive, ineffective wall along the southern border. The president and his supporters in Washington are holding the health and welfare of millions of Americans hostage. The forum will provide an opportunity for community and tribal leaders, policy experts, and environmental advocates to testify on the impact Trump’s wall would have on border communities, wildlife and ecology, and the American people as a whole. Full details are available below.
The event is open to the press and the public. The event will be livestreamed at https://bit.ly/2QRrPsT.
