NEXT WEEK: PROMESA, Plastic Pollution, Sexual Harassment, Public Lands Measures - House Votes on Three Committee Bills
Washington, D.C. – The Committee on Natural Resources will hold four hearings next week, including the second of two hearings on Chair Raúl M. Grijalva’s (D-Ariz.) proposed PROMESA revisions; a hearing focused on the dangers of plastic pollution; an oversight hearing investigating sexual harassment at the Department of the Interior; and a legislative hearing on several public lands bills.
The House will vote next week on three bills previously passed out of the Committee: Chair Grijalva’s Grand Canyon Centennial Protection Act (HR 1373), Rep. Ben Ray Luján’s (D-N.M.) Chaco Cultural Heritage Area Protection Act (HR 2181) and Rep. Joe Neguse’s (D-Colo.) Colorado Outdoor Recreation and Economy Act (HR 823).

- H.R. 4139 (Rep. Filemon Vela), To provide for the boundary of the Palo Alto Battlefield National Historic Park to be adjusted, to authorize the donation of land to the United States for addition to that historic park, and for other purposes.
