NEXT WEEK: Roadless Rule, NOAA Oversight, and Legislative Action

Washington, D.C. – The Committee on Natural Resources will hold four hearings next week, two legislative hearings and two that provide oversight on actions taken by the Trump administration. The Subcommittee on Water, Oceans, and Wildlife is diving into the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s report on illegal fishing, including hearing testimony from Ian Urbina, an investigative reporter for the New York Times. The Subcommittee on National Parks, Forests, and Public Lands hosts an oversight hearing on the detrimental impact of the Trump administration decision to exempt the Tongass National Forest from roadless protections.
