NEXT WEEK: House Democrats Hold Markup, Field Hearing, Three Subcommittee Legislative Hearings
Washington, D.C. – The Committee on Natural Resources is holding a markup next Wednesday, September 18, at 10:00 a.m. Eastern time on a broad range of bills that include several species and habitat conservation efforts, among others.
The Energy and Mineral Resources Subcommittee; the National Parks, Forests, and Public Lands Subcommittee; and Subcommittee for Indigenous Peoples of the United States will hold legislative hearings.
Energy and Mineral Resources Subcommittee Chair Alan Lowenthal (D-Calif.) is hosting a field hearing in Wildwood, N.J., with Rep. Jeff Van Drew (D-NJ) titled “Examining the Benefits and Potential Challenges for New Jersey's Growing Offshore Wind Industry” on Monday, September 16, 2019 at 10 a.m. Eastern.
